Four Private Dog Training Lessons

Your program includes four private lessons, generally scheduled once per week and lasting approximately 40–60 minutes each.

Each lesson builds upon the previous week’s training. You’ll receive specific homework to practice between lessons so both you and your dog continue developing your skills throughout the program.

Lesson 1: Communication and Foundation

We begin by teaching you how to properly communicate with your dog using the training equipment and establishing the foundation for Heel, Sit, Down, Stay, and Come.

Building Reliable Obedience

As your dog begins understanding the commands, we progressively increase expectations and distractions. You’ll learn how to reinforce obedience without constantly repeating yourself or negotiating with your dog.

Working Around Real-World Distractions

Our private lessons are conducted at our North Phoenix training location where we can work around everyday environmental distractions including people, dogs, bicycles, vehicles, children, sports activities, noises, and changing surroundings.

Your dog doesn’t just need to listen when nothing is happening. Your dog needs to listen when the real world is happening around you.

Teaching You to Maintain the Training

The most important part of private training is teaching the owner. By the end of your program, our goal is for you to understand what to do, when to do it, and why you’re doing it.
